Residential Haulers & Commercial Haulers
Savage residents and businesses contract with private refuse haulers in order to dispose of waste. Link to 'Residential Haulers' or 'Commercial Haulers' to find companies that are licensed to operate and collect within the city.

Recycling
Most refuse haulers provide a recycling service (and the necessary containers) to their customers. In addition, Savage residents are encouraged to use the drop-off center, Buckingham Recycling. Some materials are accepted free of charge, for others there is a fee.

Hazardous Waste
Household hazardous waste must be disposed of properly to avoid endangering health and contaminating ground water. These wastes include, but are not limited to:

• solvents
• household cleaners
• pesticides
• paint
• wood preservatives
• aerosols
• batteries
• automotive oil
• antifreeze
