Ambulance Print E-mail

Allina Medical Transportation (AMT) provides emergency ambulance transportation for residents of Savage. AMT is part of Allina Health System, a large non-profit provider of health care services, and is not a service provided by the City. However, those requiring ambulance service should still call 911. Ambulance service areas are set by the State EMS Regulatory Board.


Two ambulance bases in Savage serve the cities of Savage and Prior Lake. These bases are at Highway 13 and County Road 101, and at Highway 13 and County Road 42. These two bases provide quick access to all areas of the city. Each ambulance is staffed by at least one Advanced Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) and one Paramedic. AMT also provides emergency ambulance service to many other communities in the area.
