The City of Savage transfers $250,000 annually from Liquor Operations to Debt Service in order to pay for the bonds issued to finance the Library building. In addition, in 2007 the Liquor Fund transferred $175,000 to the General Fund. In pervious years, liquor store profits have been used to help fund other miscellaneous projects such as park shelters, safe and sober campaigns, and various school organizations
