The City of Savage has codes in place for the protection of public health, safety and welfare and the main objective of code enforcement is to facilitate voluntary compliance and work with property owners to correct violations. Owners should take responsibility for maintaining their property to promote the preservation of neighborhoods and enhancement of our community. In many cases, a resident or business owner may be unaware of common code violations and take action to correct it once notified.

Due to limited resources, the City responds to violations on a complaint basis only. If you believe there are code issues in your neighborhood you must submit a written complaint. Your name and personal information is confidential and will not be shared with the public. To register a complaint, you may print the Code Violation Reporting Form and submit to the Savage Police Department or fill out the on-line form below.
