Naturally Resourceful –What does it mean?

Our tagline, Naturally Resourceful, is about the manner in which the City of Savage conducts business. Specifically:

• The City of Savage invests wisely in its staff, facilities and relationships to deliver services its residents can rely upon and afford. Examples include joint powers agreements with other government entities, partnerships, volunteers, training for and careful selection of staff, updated buildings and equipment;
• The City welcomes partnerships that capitalize on Savage’s strengths to build a better community for people of all ages and backgrounds. Examples include SCALE, LifeTime Fitness, Savage Arts Studios, Savage Depot, and School Districts 191 and 719);
• The City of Savage values preservation on all fronts as a critical component to the development of a strong community. This is not only about preserving environmental assets, but about preserving our history, preserving property owners’ rights, preserving our level of service to residents.
